Vonnegut foot connection

Kurt Vonnegut died this week. I felt a sort of connection with him after learning about how the aliens in his novel "Cat's Cradle" mingled their souls together. They did so by pressing the bottoms of their feet together. It may sound odd, but I think that's really intimate. My twin sister and I used to soak our feet in out bathroom sink together all the time. Later, sometimes we would do it after dances, or after being out in the cold, or just to relax and talk before bed. As we got older and our feet got bigger they filled the sink so we had to rotate whose feet were on top like the sandwich game you play with your hands.
